NAME OF THE NGOs : Bridge Education and Heath Foundation

LEGAL STATUS : Bridge Education and Health Foundation (BEHF) is a purely government registered,non profit voluntary organization. NGO B.REG.NO-2381.

PRELUDE : Bridge Education and Health Foundation (BEHF) is a purely non government, non profit voluntary organization, it has started its journey in the year of 2006 in taking legal status with the department of NGO bureau (N G O BUREAU REG NO-2381) working across the country in tie -up with the net work of a major NGOs of Bangladesh. Where Bridge Education and Health Foundation is honored and assigned as a led position though it is providing milestone with a sheer new paradigm on poverty, alleviation, sanitation, tree plantation, gender HIV/Aids, disaster management, rehabilitation, capacity, building, Bridge Education and Health Foundation (BEHF) believes quietly a new dimension with research oriented programs that may carry out faster development for the sake of the society building with its proper assignment of all other NGOs led by BEHF .

BEHF also firmly believes that all the programs may introduce for the sake of mankind development and welfare in the future definitely & complying the issues of UN.

MISSION : In building capacity in all respect for all the poor and vulnerable women a self sufficient , self governed & self independent in using local resources with imparting self need based program utilizing necessary training skilled & experienced staff/personnel might reach our mission shortly & positively.

Apart from a saga group of BEHF profoundly observed that there is a colossal goal in every walk or strata of the government administration and society .which is also a target to uplifting the whole problematic affairs as part and parcel to the commitment of reforms undertaken by BEHF.

VISION : Providing a better and superb guide line with an active participation through an advancement education, cultural & heritage at the threshold level of children, boys and girl hood. Which the main modern education can ensure a real human resource, ideology, humanitarian, human activities human rightness, justice, peace, and in decision making, reform process, recast management and democratic value as a whole of its concern.

OBJECTIVES : In the most apex position evaluating Bridge Education and Health Foundation (BEHF) is emerging strong voice over establishing better love, peace, justice, democratic values and verses against dashing, injustice discriminated level of poverty and gender inequality & terrorism in our society.

Major goals :

  • As we know that education is the spine of the nation, in this sense and priority to educate drooping out children through the Non Formal Education aiming to establish its across the country.

  • Bangladesh is one of the 3rd world poorest countries of the world where a huge number of unemployment in our country which are to be ensured and disposed the working arena through training the youth & provide them into job opportunity.

  • There are major numbers of miserable and disable peoples around us setting up a good number of projects in providing them in social development with good condition.

  • Creating conventional working opportunities for the women and encourage them participation

  • In deed, human right is a far beyond from our people of Bangladesh especially in respect, women and children’s priority rightness, where we like to ensure & undertake human rightness persuading and converting to toward the Baptism & a real human resourceful life.

  • It generally and commonly It is found much more violence and discrimination in the society owing to poverty and starvation, so, reducing its higher rate of violence and discrimination we firmly ensure in uprooting violence & discrimination .BEHF takes its positive initiative.

  • Improving the socio economic status of the targeted people by developing the habit of saving, providing skill training and micro credit support.
Over a humanitarian commitment rehabilitating the vulnerable group with providing relief materials along with other necessary supports are really needed. Suppose, the cyclone SIDR hitting people at the offshore is a common phenomenal while the cyclone SIDR occurs it, then, providing them in rehabilitation and relief materials are to be aided obviously that BEHF serves severely and solemnly

TARGET BENEFICIARIES :

Poor people especially women and children who live below the poverty line are mostly landless, marginal farmers, widows. Orphans, divorce, deprived woman and day labors etc

  • it is very common issue on Bangladesh chapter concerning the health and sanitation to the community people .though the health program has been carrying out over many years but the arsenic program has been detected over the last one decade direly, where its arsenic water is not at all drinkable causing the earlier death of life so, knowing the death of arsenic water BEHF has strode two phases indicating to protect arsenic free water program and making its highly campaigning among the common people of our villages of Bangladesh which is a prime goal of BEHF.

  • Disaster and cyclone hit is a common concern climatically in Bangladesh where many peoples left death and tress less hugely is a heart breaking condolence event known by the whole world aiding greatly humanitarian assistance at the emergent moment where the disaster management was is needed to help them to minimize the aftermath that BEHF is taking its proper measures definitely.
